Illustrated boards with dark brown and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration is for underlying board, with white and dark brown coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A novel set in the Pacific Island Samoa and the adventures of a young boy Tungi.  Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges, with rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges. Browning to the text block edges and pages. Some handling marks to the end pages. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Sunning and rubbing of the dustwrapper with some staining to the rear panel noticeable. To the verso of the dustwrapper the staining is much more visible – please see photograph.
