Joliet. The P.F. Volland Co. 1926. Bound in pictorial decorated paper covered boards. In original publishers pictorial box. Square 12mo. The second edition. Illustrated throughout with colour drawings in the art deco style by John Gee. Very mild rubbing to rear cover. Head and tail pieces extremely mildly rubbed. Short tear to 1/2 title. Child's name in crayon to 1/2 title, else a Near Fine crisp copy. Box somewhat darkened with a short tear to one edge and evidence of water staining to bottom. A Crisp, bright copy in the rare publisher's box.
