Macmillan, London, 1973. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. Tan coloured boards with black coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour photographic dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Photograph of the author to the rear fold over panel. A novel about a sexual attack that leads to lies, deceptions and finally murder. Softening of the back strip edges with a little rubbing of the book corners. Light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Chipping of the top corner of the front panel and there is a 1 inch tear to the top left hand corner of the same panel with a crease running to the top dustwrapper edge. There is a similar sized tear and crease to the top edge of the rear panel. Rubbing of the fold over creases and dustwrapper. Sunning of the back strip and of the rear panel.
