About This Item
1926. First edition. Hardcover. Ex-Library. 360pp, with colour plates.Despite ex-library markings (minimal & mainly confined to prelims & covers), content is unusually clean & tight (excepting 1 partial gutter crack). Covers are stained but very sound. FIRST EDITION. A substantial work on all aspects (challenges & pitfalls) of publishing ventures from a publishing stalwarth (half 'Allen & Unwin'). Some technical details long out of date, of course, and even moreso as the trade enters new frontiers, but the principles remain highly relevant and you would be hard pressed to find a comparable modern work with similar scope.
