SIGNED by the author, Alison Lurie twice, once on the Full Title page and again on the First Blank page! The book is in Mint Condition. Book has no tears, marks, creases, remainder marks, library markings, or black lines on the edges. Not inscribed to anyone. Not price-clipped, not a Book Club Edition (BCE), or signed on a bookplate. True Collectible Quality. First Edition, First Printing, hand SIGNED to the Full Title page and the First Blank page. No inscription; full signature only. The signature on the title page was done in person after the book was published. The one signature provided by The Franklin Library is on the First Blank page. This book will be carefully wrapped and shipped with free delivery confirmation. The Franklin Library, 1988. True First Edition/First Printing. The Truth about Lorin Jones - 8vo. 328 pp. The first Franklin Library Edition was printed simultaneously with the First Trade Edition. Signed by the author in black ink on the front free endpaper and again on the Full Title page. Fully bound in gorgeous black leather. A swirling geometric design enclosed within gilt rules is gilt-stamped to the front and rear boards. The title, the author's name, the Signed First Edition indicia, a design repeated from the boards, and the publisher's name are gilt-stamped to the spine between three un-tooled, raised leather bands. The top edges, fore-edges, and bottom edges of the text block are gilt. The pastedowns and endpapers are marbled in gray tones with green, blue, rose, and gold accents.
