privately printed by HM Government Printing Office, Wellington, 1904. Book. Very Good. hardback. 1st Edition. hardback, octavo, green cloth lettered gilt, patterned endpapers, lightly rubbed at head and foot, some minor faded spotting to cloth, upper hinge starting at dedication page else a very good tightly bound copy with a clean and unmarked text, colour map, double frontis, two colour plates and b&w illustrations, although the List of Illustrations calls for a separately issued map, it is not clear that this was in fact issued. Extra loosely inserted leaf as called for, xix + 428pp. Please note that for the sake of appearance on the shelf, we use loosely inserted card strengtheners at head and foot of spine, these can easily be removed by hand or with tweezers..
