About This Item
New York: Carleton, Publisher, 1863. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. FIFTH Edition stated on title page; INSCRIBED by Kimball on ffep; there is some confusion as to the author of this book--it is either Joseph Warren Fabens or Cora Montgomery, both of whom were associated with Kimball but Fabens seems more likely, though the Library of Congress says it's Montgomery. 12mo, green cloth, no dj; good (cocked; front joint torn and chipped; two chips to rear joint; ink stains on rear board; spine ends, corners and edges bumped; gilt on spine dull, ends chipped, frayed and worn; stain spots to top and side edges; front hinge is expertly repaired, almost undetectable); 306pp.
