Sheet size of 12 1/4 x 9 inches. Very good contrast. Matted, glazed and in a nice simple black frame. Tavik Frantisek Simon (1877-1942) was a Czech painter, etcher, and woodcut artist. Born Frantisek Simon, he later adopted the additional name 'Tavík', which was his mother's maiden name, generally signing his work T. F. imon. Largely ignored during the Communist era in Czechoslovakia, his work has received greater attention in recent years. Novak 216
