Very faintest of edge-wear and a very few areas of foxing to prelims. Appears nearly As New. A handsome copy. FINE.. Octavo in very finely ribbed dark blue cloth with logo, line ornaments and titles stamped in gilt ; marbled edges; 342 p ; 19 cm. In Norwegian (Norsk). Early printing of the original language edition of: The Wild Orchid. A very nice copy of the presumed first edition. Scarce thus. Sigrid Undset (1882-1949) is a celebrated female Norwegian novelist ; she received the 1928 Nobel Prize in Literature.
