About This Item
Edition limited to 250 copies, of which this is Number 90, in the publisher's string-tied blue card-stock wrappers with title label and decorative device on front panel, octavo, pp. 95 plus colophon. Printed and bound by Wolfe Editions and Ascensius Press. Signed by the author at the limitation page. A cleverly done-up affair, with each poem appearing in three languages: French, English, and Passamaquoddy. Pages are folded in a manner that, when opened, display a poem simultaneously in the three languages across three panels. The intricately accomplished string ties make no fewer than 13 exterior passes along the spine. At some point, previous owner did not fold two of the panels back into place as neatly as he might have, causing mild unobtrusive creasing. This occurs along the gutter of pp. 28/29 and at the bottom tip of pp. 88/89. The tips of the wrappers have very light shelf bumps, as well. VERY GOOD condition withal. French translations provided by Christian Bedard; Passamaquoddy by David A. Francis.
