Cape Town: A.A. Balkema, 1972. Three volumes. Very well illustrated with black and white photograps and line drawings throughout, 24 colour plates, large thick quarto, pp xvi, 2235, top edge slightly age-toned, a very very slight suggestion of waving to the page margins top and bottom at start of each volume, otherwise very clean and bright internally, red cloth in very good condition, the dustwrappers are slightly worn and chipped, very browned on their spines, and that of the second volume is more stretched with tears at the top joint and at the lower fold-over. A stunning work of great depth. [Extremely heavy, weighing over 8 kilos when packed. Extra postage will be necessary.]. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/A little worn and stretched.
