Spine gilt between raised bands, with a contrasting label. Text pages lightly age toned around the margins but the plates unaffected. A fine copy. Probably the finest hand coloured plates of fungi to be found in an English book. Not in Cagle or Bitting. '..this important and savoury food...' - Preface p.vii.
