Brown cloth jacket with blind and gilt stamping on front and back, with texture and gild on spine.
Publication date listed as 1851 on title page and 1850 on copyright page. C. Sherman is printer.
Cover shows wear and bumping on edges and corners, with fraying on top and heel of spine. Pages are age tanned and foxed. Spine is cocked. Small writing in pencil throughout.
