London : Ernest Benn Limited, 1927 A very good copy of the first edition of this work illustrated by Edmund Dulac. In the original red cloth binding with decorative black design to front board edges and black titles to spine. With 12 colour plates by Dulac and numerous black and white illustrations, vignettes, head and tail pieces and decorative initial capitals. The cloth binding is in very good condition with some fading to the spine and the front board close to the spine, and pulling to spine ends. There is some wear to corners. Internally there is a small Stevenson copyright stamp to the front pastedown. Contents are in very good clean condition. The free endpapers have some browning and the final page is browned. 1 page is unopened. The very occasional spot to pages.
