Dust jacket lightly worn along edges with a few minor nicks; general soiling and rubbing, heavier to rear. Boards show a few bumps with light wear to edges. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. A Very Good copy of an early Mailer work, originally written when he was 20 years old and three years before he began work on The Naked and the Dead.
