Garden City. Good with no dust jacket. 1947. First Edition. Hardcover. Ex library hardcover with NO DJ. Library binding and multiple stamps, otherwise relatively few library markings. Covers are mildly soiled with bumped corners and a pencil B on cover. Sturdy library binding is still strong however. Wonderful, colorful pen and watercolor illustrations by noted watercolorist Millard throughout. Vintage, from the era when picture books contained extensive real information. ; 10.90 X 7.85 x 0.40 inches .
