Very Lightly Rubbed Corners, Toned Endpapers In Good Plus Brittle And Fragile Blue And Yellow Dust Jacket, Browning And With Various Chips And Short Tears, Including A Hole In The Spine. The Jacket Is Unclipped, Shows The Original Price Of 15 Shillings And Is 95 Per Cent Present. This Is, As Its Title Suggests, And As The Author Himself Declares, "A Farewell To Arms." It Is A Collection Of Essays, Lectures And Radio Broadcasts From 1946 To 1955. In His Preface Of February 1955, Koestler Says He Hs Now Said All He Had To Say On The Questions Which Had Obsessed Him. "Now The Errors Are Atoned For, The Bitter Passion Has Burnt Itself Out; Cassandra Has Gone Hoarse, And Is Due For A Vocational Change.'
