Early Star Books reprinting shows soil and tearing at spine head, rubbing and staining to rear cover, some stain at bottom area of front cover, sticker at rear endpaper, tear at rear inner hinge, browning and staining to first couple of pages and some other mild wear, in good dust jacket that shows exposure toning along spine, staining and soil, rubbing and wrinkles, long closed tear at front panel and edgewear that incudes closed tears and open chipping. 375 pages with index and photos by J. B. Shackelford. Solid and perfectly readable copy that will look decent of the shelf of this "enthralling discovery and adventure written on the field of exploration by the head of the American Museum of Natural History's expedition to Mongolia.
