London: Methuen and Co., 1901. 5th or later Edition 1st Printing. Cloth Bound Boards. Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. 1901 fifth edition. Size quarto, 10" tall, 671 pages. Crimson cloth covered boards with gilt titles elaborate frame and vignette of Nero Claud Caesar to the front cover and gilt titles to the spine, rough trimmed page edges, very dark navy blue end-papers. Condition good, corners and edges rubbed, hinges a little loose, spine faded, spotting to end-papers and first and last few pages otherwise the contents are clean.
