Norman: University of Oklahoma Press, 1961. Second Printing. Both volumes in this two volume set are in fine condition in ivory colored cloth covered boards with a prior owner's name on the end paper and on the title page. Without a dust jacket as issued; however, the books are contained within a near fine slip case with one small area of the opening rubbed. A beautiful set of a remarkable piece of work on which the author spend a lifetime researching, organizing and writing. The author died in 1956 and the closing chapters were written by his long time associate and student, J. W. Smurr. With a forward by Alice M. Phillips. 79 pg. bibliog.
