Boston: C. M. Clark Pub. Co, 1909. Hardcover. 382p., frontispiece with chipped tissue-guard & 7 glossy b&w plates from drawings, some foxing including a bit on the fourth plate, rubbing and wear else fair first edition in green cloth boards , dull gilt spine titles and green and yellow titles and decorations on front cover. Higgins died leaving the manuscript and his sister finished the book. Autobiographical fiction set in Pennsylvania. Watson 204 and Wax pg. 190.
