Little Brown, 1955-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Signed. SIGNED, without inscription, by Oscar Lewis on the title page. The volume is edge rubbed, pushed at the spine ends and has a small date stamped on the half title page. The dust jacket, sleeved in mylar, has a price sticker affixed over the original price, is chipped at the spine ends and corners, has a closed tear on each facing panel (associated creasing on the front panel), and is lightly soiled.
