Small, staplebound pamphlet, (7 1/4 in. x 4.75 in.) of grey, buckram-covered stiff cardboard. 104 pp. in all (94 pp. of text, and 9 dot-lined pages of notes, of which 8 are yet blank, the first one having handwritten ingredients for "Treacle Scones". A bit of wear to extremities, but quite solidly bound. Recipes for egg jelly, egg flip, mutton pie, gruel, goosberry jam, and more.
