A signed copy of this work by Michael Frayn in the original unclipped dust wrapper, previously owned by author Stephen Vizinczey. The first edition. A scarce signed copy. inscribed to the front free endpaper by the author; "With best wishes, (signature)". From the library of Hungarian-Canadian author Stephen Vizinczey, best known for his 'In Praise of Older Women', and 'An Innocent Millionaire'. His writing was praised by the likes of Graham Greene and Anthony Burgess, describing his fiction as social epics which breathe hope in a corrupt world. This was written by English playwright and novelist Michael Frayn. This satirical novel, inspired by his own experiences during his time at 'The Observer', follows a group of journalists who work or a British newspaper.
