The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography taken by Jim Marshall. Blue coloured cloth covered boards with silver coloured titles to the back strip. Black-and-white photographic dust wrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. Black-and-white photograph of author and photographer at the rear of the book. On August 29, 1966 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco The Beatles played their last public performance. At the time only The Beatles knew that this was to be the last hurrah for, if you will, of "Beatlemania". After this concert The Beatles took a new direction musically and they never played in public again in a concert setting. Jim Marshall, photographer, was there and his photographs, both backstage and on stage show, show The Beatles at their height. Minor rubbing of the book corners and back strip corners. Some ruffling of the dust wrapper edges and rubbing of the panels. Size: Oblong 8vo - 7¾" - 9¾" tall but wider. [5], 6 -| 101, [3] pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
