No date, circa 1952; fourth issue, featuring "The Ghost of BIlly Bunter," Jimmy the Shark," "Tom Merry's Christmas Present," "The Case of the Perplexed Painter," "A Lodging for the Night," and "A Rag at Carcroft"; jacket rubbed/soiled, front flap priceclipped, edges bumped with minor tearing, corners have minor chipping/tearing, top spine end has chipping about one inch deep, bottom spine end has minor chipping and ~two inch tear; cover rubbed, board edges lightly bumped, rear board has ~two inch very rubbed line, corners rubbed/bumped, spine ends rubbed/quite bumped; edges very foxed; endpapers have uneven age-toning and faint soiling, ffep has faint erasures; text block has some foxing scattered throughout; binding tight; cover, edges, and interior intact and clean except as noted.. hardcover. Good/Good.
