New York: Harper & Brothers. Very Good. 1921. Later Printing. Hardcover. B&W Illustrations; This book is in Very Good condition. 1921 printing with code H-V on copyright page. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. The book covers have some light edge wear and rubbing along with beginning fraying to the corners and spine ends (with more fraying and wear to the top spine end). The text pages are clean and bright. This copy has one full color frontispiece and thirty-three full page black and white illustrations by Louis Rhead. This copy includes an inked notation from the Katharine Branson School (dated 1921-1922) in which this book was awarded to a student for receiving the English Note Book Prize (the blue ribbon the owner received is still laid in. The Katharine Branson School, in Ross, CA still exists and boasts of several notable alumni including Julia Child, Johnny Moseley (Olympic Skiier) , and, Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos). .
