Articles in this issue on the childhood of Francisco Madero, death of Tomas Urbina, a story alleging Thomas Edison was not really an inventor, literacy in Mexico, Mexican adult reformatories, Mexican street types, Hollywood and Mexican films and film stars, national and international news from a leftist perspective, bullfights (with Alberto Balderas), and considerably more. Profusely illustrated with photographs, all rendered in rich rotogravure, including those by R. Carrillo G., Jr. Numerous display advertisements for popular Mexican products and businesses as well as famous American brand-names. Beautiful full-page front cover portrait of actress Frances Dee.
