This program was created in 1946 and became a permanent part of the UN System in 1953. Its headquarters are in New York. Reports on displaced children from Belgium, China, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Greece, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, USSR and Yugoslavia.
