Methuen, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Some rubbing and wear to edges of wrapper with several small creases and tears, some loss to top and bottom of spine. Spine is darkened. Some soiling to wrapper. Wrapper is now in a clear removable protective sleeve. Not price clipped, no inscriptions, illustrated. Clean copy internally with little wear, a couple of light spots to edge of text block. Heavy book, will require additional postage ouside the UK. Contains a laid in copy of the programme for the 1952 production at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre Stratford Upon Avon.
