About This Item
Very Good. 1958. TLS with an original watercolor sketch of two Native Americans, one on horseback, the other smoking a pipe. In manuscript the creator has written "Station Sioux - Translation Buffalo Chips Filter Best." Letter is dated to September 7, 1958 and is signed Tut(?) in blue ink. In top left corner is written "Tuttle" in red ink. The illustration was sketched in pencil and filled in with yellow, red, brown and black watercolors. The letter is in good condition, has mailing folds and top and bottom edges are deckled, light soiling on verso. The letter was written to Leo and discusses an article for Gunsport, and how television doesn't like funny heroes anymore. ; 10 1/4" x 7"; 1 pp .
