Unbound copy contains a laid in end page with family information from 1765. 214 pages with all 150 psalms plus a two sided page of register uberdie psalmen at the end which may not be complete. There is some stitching along the edge which holds the book together. This is a small 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" book. There is some writing along the edge of one page, some oil damp stains and and some creased page corners. Book will be shipped first class with delivery confirmation if ordered within the U.S.

Good used condition with some cover wear from use, good hinges (front hinge looks like it was professionally repaired at one point), sound text block, slightly age-toned but clean pages, no other names or markings. The inscription reads: To David E. Jones with every good regard and warm wish this book is given. "Jonesy" is really one of my gang, Chas. Coe, New York City, November 5, 1927. We think the first name is David but it's hard to read.. Inscribed by The Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

He was a Major General in the Russian Army, a skilled musician and the founder of the Mecklenburg Quartet.
