Cantabrigiae (Cambridge): Typis Academicis Wxcudit Joannes Smith, 1829. Marbled boards and endpapers. Panelled spine with gilt letters. Joints and raised bands are rubbed, binding is quite firm. Small owner's name on tag at top of front pastedown. The poem is included in "Prolusiones Academicae Praemis Annuis Dignatae et In Curia Cantibrigiensi recitatae comitiis Maximis". The first publication of Tennyson's second published work, the FIRST under his own name. Accredited to A. Tennyson, of Trinity College. The poem is printed on nine pages, with the preferred ":cones" on p.10. Other poems by C.R. Kennedy in Greek and by Charles Merivale. 41pp. in all. See CBEL lll, pp. 253-255.. First Edition. 1/2 Emerald Morooco. Moderate Corner and Edge Wear/No Jacket. Thin Octavo.
