Unpaginated, about 35p., a sewn fastening, expertly homemade booklet with numerous xeroxed photoillustrations (sites, crews), 8x5 inch color photo covers, a nice unblemished copy. The author "ran a small, independent bookstore for twenty years in Ellensburg, Washington, and he subsidized it for fifteen of those years by planting trees every spring." He was on crews that dealt with fire and vulcanism, balky automobiles, lumbermen and tree huggers, he writes good.
