RARE: Retailed by Macy's stamp on title page 8vo sized orange cloth bound hardcover with black titles and decorations on spine; 295 toned pages with 16 black and white engravings including frontispiece. From first page: "From his high window he could see where the Thames, once upon a time, was crossed by Charing Cross Bridge. But not on that winter afternoon. The bridge was a shadow in a murk. It did not cross the Thames. There was no Thames... It was but a spectral relic..." Sunned spine, bumped head and heel of spine; bumped corners; dusty top; penciled inscription and two small abrasions on fep. . First. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

RETURNS:

Returns are accepted in original packaging with advance Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA.) If a return is required, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number and more information.

Refund of the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee will be issued upon receipt of the item in as sold condition. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

However, if you make a fraudulent return to avoid our restocking fee by claiming the item is damaged, or you cause damage to the item and then return it, we will not issue a refund.
