New York, NY.: Harper & Brothers. Very Good. 1945. First Edition. Hardcover. This book is hard-bound in tan cloth with red and black stamping on the upper cover and spine. The covers show light scuffing and soiling, edge-wear, and light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The hinges are cracked, and the text-block is beginning to loosen at a few spots toward the front. The contents are bright and clean with illustrations. There is an envelope taped to the front paste-down which contains a TLs (Typed Letter, Signed) by James Thurber. .
