Tan cloth binding w/ brown titles; clean and unmarked with slight edgewear. Square, tight and solid. Red and white maps on endpapers. Interior is clean, unmarked, untorn, pages toned. Nice clean, solid volume. A partial story of the China War-only a Chinese person can write the true history of his people. The story of the China war is a story of Chiang K'ai-shek, a man who misunderstood the war. When Chiang tried to fight the Japanese and preserve the old fabric at the same time, he was not only unable to defeat the Japanese but was powerless to preserve his own authority.
