NY: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1925. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good +. First edition. Ownership copy of Henry Abromson, Morley's friend, bibliophile who specialized in Morley and editor of Morley's "Prefaces without Books: Prefaces and Introductions to Thirty Books" (1970) with his Christopher Morley bookplates on the pastedown. Apparently from Abromson's personal Mroley collection. This copy formerly owned by Vincent Starret, Canadian bron American writer, newspaperman and bibliophile with his ownership signature top if half title, below which Morley has inscribed: "Ex libris V.S. and signed for him with true regards and gratitudes by Christopher Morley. Chicago. December 29, 1925" Lacking dustjacket, scuffed about edges, but a solid, clean copy.
