About This Item
New York: Doubleday, Page & Company , 1925. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 7.5x5.5. Fine first edition in unopened, unmarked interior. Book straight and square, with fading to paper label at spine. Dust jacket (very rare and unclipped $2.00) very good + with large chips to spine ends. Except for spine ends the cover is very fine. Tipped in is a small paper booklet 11 pages with "comments and controversies by various critics", critics and readers tell what Morley's strange story means. Also Tipped in is Christopher Morley's signature on a small presentation card dated 1925. You will be hard pressed to find a better book and jacket. A fine addition to any fine library.
