New York: Zimmerman's / Press of C. J. O'Brien, 1901. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Small quarto. Unpaginated. Hardcover bound in black cloth with cover designs and lettering in red. The binding is rather worn and soiled. There is a tear in the cloth at the top of the front hinge near the headcap of the spine. Glass ring on the front cover. Some white spotting (rubbing) on the rear cover. TEXT IS MUSTY. There is heavy foxing and some smudging to the endpapers. Early owner's name on the front flyleaf. The text is toned and has occasional finger smudging, stains, etc. A few pages show some damping. A reading or reference copy only.
