Illustrated blue'green full cloth binding is clean, corners and spine ends lightly scuffed, edges rubbed; sewn binding is tight, solid, hinges intact. Blue-green cloth with gilt and red foil imprinted elaborate and lavish coat-of-arms on front, white lettering on front, gilt on spine. Gold border around front panel, Illustrations from paintings by Dutch Masters (38). Tissue over frontis illustration by Mesdag. Rough cut on fore-edge and lower edge; upper edge gilt. Last four leaves remain uncut. Former owner bookplate and signature on endpapers. A very nice 1908 book. 357 pages. 5.5 x 8.25 inches. 1908, Little, Brown, and Company, Boston, MA
