John Murray, 1914. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1914. No Edition Remarks. 374 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Quarter bound in leather with cloth covered boards. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Black and white photographic plates. Foxing, thumb marking and tanning to pages and plates varies from light to moderate. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with visible staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has similar tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
