Very good in tan cloth with black lettering in a good dustjacket (short open tear to bottom edge of front cover, some spotting and soiling to back cover of dj) . Early printing. A fairly uncommon later title in this popular aviation adventure series written under the same house name as the Hardy Boys series (the author was John W. Duffield, 1859-1946, who also contributed to the Don Sturdy and Bomba the Jungle Boy series.) Glossy frontispiece and orange and white endpapers. Illustrated by Walter S. Rogers. The Ted Scott series was the longest-lived of the juvenile aviation series, selling over a million copies (in fact, during its heyday it outsold the Hardy Boys series.) 216 pp. plus 2 pp of publishers ads (ad lists to #18 in this series, front flap of dj lists to #17)
