FUN FACT: Frank Belknap Long's story The Eye Above the Mantle (1921), caught the attention of H. P. Lovecraft, and they became close friends and corresponded until Lovecraft passed in 1937. Thrilling Wonder Stories launched originally as Wonder Stories in 1929, and ran until they folded in early 1955.
