Providing "a stadium full of thrills,'' this series was set in Sonora, New Mexico, & offered stories about baseball, football, & scouting, at which Bronc was equally adept, for boys from 1948-1967. Orig. written in 1948, this is one of the Grosset & Dunlap hardcover picture cover editions from the late 1950s-1960s, in 186 pages. Condition is VG+: extremely clean, pages slightly off-white with minor tanning to outside edges, but unmarked. Binding strong & straight, hinges intact. Modest rubbing to extremities, heaviest at both ends of spine & some corners. No DJ, as issued (never came with one).
