They were intended as Christmas gifts by the publisher to friends and clients. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First Edition. Small format [it was also isued in a large edition]. Uncommon. Softbound, in blue-green sewn paper wraps.Titling and a drawing by Gilbert Spencer on the front cover; a coloured frontis drawing within. There is no publication date, but it is 1929. Hardly any wear; some darkening at the margins.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. Illus. by Gilbert Spencer. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
