Bottom corners bumped, very clean with no internal marks or writing. Gilt cover lettering still bright, the spine lettering is faded. True first edition with the Scribners' "A" on the copyright page. Spine ends a bit bumped. Very collectible condition. By the author of "Lone Cowboy." 43 original illustrations throughout. The author dedicates the book to "Charlie Scribner" the publisher..
