Priestley, and complete with a well-preserved and unclipped dust wrapper. This work follows three men upon their return from war, one a quarry worker, one the son of a farmer and the third hailing from a county family. Their readjustment to civilian life, as well as their reunion, are explored.J. B. Priestley (1894-1984) was an English novelist and playwright, whose works often incorporate his Yorkshire heritage. His best known works include 'The Good Companions', 'An Inspector Calls', 'Laburnum Grove', 'Angel Pavement' and 'The Linden Tree'.Complete with dust wrapper. This is a first edition. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just a little wear to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper has a few spots to the boards and the spine is a little sunned, but structurally it is in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
