About This Item
Boston: Little Brown & Co., 1960. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). . Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. An omnibus edition containing three of Marsh's mysteries featuring her famous Scotland Yard character, Detective Inspector Roderick Alleyn. All three novels --"A Wreath For Rivera," "Spinsters In Jeopardy," and "Night At The Vulcan" -- focus on theatrical performances ranging from a strange private ritual to an actual stage play. Bright yellow boards show slightly bumped corners, o/w clean and unmarked, tight and square. The dustjacket, basically whole, is somewhat tattered with several tears, chips and creases, some tape-repaired on the verso. Marsh is often compared with writers such as Agatha Christie, Mary Roberts Rinehart and Dorothy B. Hughes. This three-in-one Book Club volume is an economical introduction to three of her best.
