Hardcover with dustjacket, book has dust-tanning on the top outer page-edge, it is in excellent condition otherwise with no other remarkable flaws, the jacket has mild tanning on the spine and some tan spotting near the fore-edge of the rear panel, the jacket is attractive overall with no chips or tears, the original price (3.95) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "Throughout the book Ronald Searle 'takes off' in a unique series of serio-comic drawings (created for the film) of the men and women and eccentric machines of the pioneer days of aviation" .
